Not looking to open a can of worms on Norinco quality.... I am looking at getting a Norinco AR copy and I came across the Badger Arms site offering the CQB with a quad rail and foregrip. Anybody know if the quality of the quad rail is any good?
Thanks,
Glen

Nothing wrong with a Norinco, its not the best but it gets the job done... Badger Arms on the other hand, probably not so good...

I bought my Norc from Badger. Other than forgetting to phone in the transfer until I called to ask, it went well.

But there have been a lot of others complaining about serious problems. For that reason I am quitting while ahead and not buying there again.

Norks OK for the price. As other have said I would stay away from badger Arms. Many other online dealers that have Norks that will treat you right.

You know that badger must be really bad if they were bad enough that CGN admin stopped taking their money........it takes a lot for that to happen.
(oh, the owner of badger is a piece of ####)

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I will avoid Badger. Turns out Frontier Firearms has that same model.
Can't find too many bad posts about Frontier at least!!
Thanks again,
Glen

I bought a Norc CQB in April of 2011 from Badger.

Apart from a few hiccups due to their moving store location, all went reasonably well.

Then I started reading about the horror stories.

Now I consider myself very lucky that the transaction went the way it did.

The only thing I bought from Badger Arms was my Sig and like others the transfer took forever leaving you to call and find out what was going on. I bought my Norinco CQ from Frontier Firearms. Service was excellent.

Frontier Arms

Have never dealt with Bdger Arms but have had dealings with Frontier and the service was way above board and would not hesitat to deal with them in the future.:)

I have a Norc CQB (12.5" brl - is that the CQB?)

Installed a Rock River trigger and it runs like a sewing machine. Accuracy is not as good as some other ARs I have had, but plenty good enough for CQB. In CQB reliability is the main thing, and I have no complaints there.

The gas set up on the Norc feels too enthusiastic. For CQB is down load the ammo quite a bit. This ammo won't cycle other rifles.

Today I fired about 250 rounds out of 3 rifles at 100 yards, including the same Norc. It shot as well as the others. With the same ammo, the bolt slammed harder on the Norc than the Danial Defense. See posting on this page.
