So, I'm loading up some spicy .357's for my GP-100, using lil gun and Hornady 180 grain XTP's. Hodgdon says the max is 15.0 grains at a COL of 1.590. But, what if I seat this bullet to the rear cannelure, for a COL of 1.685 or so (which will fit in the GP-100 cylinder)?

There would be a helluva lot more case capacity, and at 15 grains, pressures would be way down. So - what would a reasonable new maximum load at the longer COL be, according to Quickload?
 
at 1.590, 15.0 grains of lil-gun in S&B brass is 100% load density, it comes right up to the base of the bullet. At 1.685, 100% density is 18 grains, or 20% more capacity.
 
Im guessing 357 magnum (saami) I guessed the barrel lenght but I dont' think it makes a diff pressure wise. Looks like 15 gr. is till on or near the upper limit according to what I inputed.

Mind you Im still a little skeptical about some of the calculations that come of out of that program sometimes.
