Anyone have a FSN Rifle in 7.62x39

I'm eyeing the FSN-01 because it has the configuration I want and it's $45+tax cheaper than the cz858, just wondering if anyone has one and can give me some feedback. I believe the FSN/CSA/CZ's are essentially based on the same design, just wondering if there are any drawbacks if buying a FSN. I don't see much written on the forums, the CZ858 seems to dominate on here, is there a reason?

Feel free to write about and post pics of your FSN...

(I do want a restricted 15.5" chrome lined barrel and full furniture if possible).

Don't be sad lol. I don't have one, but from what I've seen on here, they are basically the same, with some minor differences. The rifle isn't painted, iirc it's more of a blueing, with a black/plum hue to it.
 
Out of all my cz family my FSN-01k is the best rifle that I have and the most accuarett I don't understand why since it has the shortest barrell.
 
I read the tutorial, it seems that the only difference is the lack of painted metal, it's blued and one model has an excellent front sight. Can anyone post a pic of this front sight in question?

I'm assuming the CZ 5/30 round mags and furniture are swappable between cz/fsn/csa... maybe even the internals?

I'm also wondering why the FSN's aren't mentioned much on the forums? CZ and CSA mass produced, while the FSN's are not?

I have one too. Definitely the way to go if you want restricted. Mine is the 11.5" barrel. Same as curtton minus the fancy shmancy folding stocks....they are always beautiful to look at curtton.

Short barrel helps it in being your most accurate, short barrels are stiffer and have less barrel whip when fired. Although you will loose accuracy compared to longer barrels when shooting at longer ranges.
 
Just sent my intention to purchase one to Marstar. FSN-01.

Would the scarce CZ real factory wood (858) sets fit this? I'm assuming they would...
