I am looking to get one in 223 and was wondering if anyone had one and could comment on it or was looking to sell. I have watched a number of reviews and everyone seems to really like the accuracy and build. Thanks in advance for anyone responding.

I've got a Henry Long Ranger in both 223 and 308. I love them. great quality rifles. Smooth action. The only problem is that they are very difficult to find. The 223 was impossible to find and took me a year. Both are extremely accurate and fun to shoot.

You may also consider the Browning BLR in 223. I have one of those too. Can't go wrong with this one either.

Which BLR do you have? Checking them out now.. ANything you dont like about it?

The only real hickup with the BLR is that it will turn your rifle cleaning processes upside down.

Do a search on CGN for the BLR.
This is something you must be aware of prior to purchase. Perhaps the Long Ranger suffers from this malady too?

unsure

Hornady One Shot for cleaning the BLR. It's a must. Patches and brushes down the barrel like normal, but for everything else a good spray of One Shot will flash away quickly and leave behind a protective, low friction barrier on the internals.

Great advice. I will look it up at my local store
