Most people know that Hodgdon doesn't make its own powders, but rather buys powders from other companies that actually do make powders - and sells this under its own product name like H110 versus Winchester 296.

Does anyone have a complete list of where Hodgdon gets its powders and what the other name is?

Are there any surprises on that list. For example, is Hodgson getting any of the powders in its product line from non-North American sources?

The list of ADI supplied powders is from 2010, and is obsolete. Many powders formerly supplied by ADI, have been supplied by General Dynamics plant in Valleyfield Quebec, most recently.

This is very helpful. I guess that there are no surprises.

Before these posts, I was wondering if any Hodgdon powders were coming from Eastern Europe. From what you'd indicated, it seems that the answer is "no".

Pretty well every powder listed on the Hodgdon website has it's country of origin prominently on the picture of the label of the larger keg. Alternatively, you can find the origin on the Safety Data sheet.
It will say something like " manufactured in Canada, packaged in the USA" for powders made in Valleyfield Quebec.

You are correct, Hodgdon is not a manufacturer, rather a distributor. For example, current production H4350 and many others are made in Australia by Australian Defense Industries. Hodgdon had a relationship with these guys for over 25 years.

I wonder how many Americans know that a significant amount of the reloading powders sold in the US are coming from "foreign countries" Given the hording mentality that seems to have taken over everywhere, I wonder now that fact would land with the average US shooter/ reloader.
