Holy snappers no kidding! :D

Funny part is I have walked past this rifle for months, but after Stomy said he thought they where crap in another thread, I began looking into them, and my eyeballing this one caught the attention of the store owner.

So I blame Stormbringer. :D

I'll post pics if it follows me home. :)

Good morning SuperCub!

It would be a shame to burn that old shootin' iron on the BBQ, so if you feel that way about it, just send it down here, OK? It will have a good home, and from time to time it can come out and geeze with me........

Had one in 257Roberts and it was the best shooting lever I ever owned.Tried to find it so I could buy it back.Dizzydan was the last guy I know who had this 99. Where it went from there is a mystery.

Awe--Haa... now I know who you are :)

senior, you should go to more gun shows, and you would know who a LOT of these guys are!!!! Good luck on your hunt, buddy!

Leaving in half an hour for the hunt camp, signing off now.........

brass triggers are probably nothing- my 99c clip has a gold plate factory direct- perhaps the brass is really this as well- it also had engine turning on the bolt, but i lost this when i had it re-blued- twit that did the job didn't know what it was and re-finished the bolt

The gold triggers were only used on the F's, DL's and C's and are all post mil 99's, it means nothing special, just an added feature they put on during the early 60's, they went back to the blued triggers around 66.
