Anyone have a Simmons Aetec Scope?

These scopes are priced right and although my limited experience with Simmons was not impressive, they do rate very highly in the reviews.

Any first hand experience here?

I am specifically looking at the Aetec 2.8-10X44 to put on my 17hmr.
They are priced between $150-$180 depending on the site.

I’m not sure about the new one’s but I did have an older version with a 5” eye relief. The optics on that scope was pretty good for the price. I had no complaints with mine...
