Anyone have a Stalking rifle to flaunt?

Google is a search engine, it gives no definition. The person who suggested Google is nearly trying to base their opinion off of others found via said search engine. It is still just an opinion.[/QUOTE

Removed as I dislike being rude, especially this close to Christmas!

Keep the pics coming of all the beauty rifles!

The pic of that bread was great too!

Let's all settle down a bit. Never thought posting my "little" 9.3X57 stalking rifle for sale last week would have started all this. Maybe I should have just called it a rifle.

Have a slice of bread and relax, while we think about this.

That is some wonderful "stalking bread". Chrome lined?

Sorry, couldn't help... Forgive me, lol.

Actually, it's hunter bread, a heavy whole wheat and sunflower seed loaf that has a very fine crumb. Each loaf weighs over a pound, and lasts for days without refrigeration while afield.

I believe I've seen your loaves in past, and again, they look as great as ever. Best of the season to you and Marg. Take care, and both of you stay safe and healthy. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Only in Fuddonia could this thread go like this.

Anyway, still in progress, torn between going with a red dot or a nice fixed power scope on this, then a nice light rifle in 7X57, great for 0-300m.

Where's the barrel? Lol
Seriously, how does 7x57 handle with a short barrel?

16 inch barrel, so about 100fps than an 18 inch, and 30-50fps less than a 17inch carbine length as used militarily. So IMHO not bad. I have easily gone through well over 500 rds through this rifle, and in my hands its about 1.5 moa, a few better shots have done 1moa. Its very light, and the stock is near perfect, so it swings and moves nicely, and is the lightest rifle i have ever owned.
