Anyone have a Stalking rifle to flaunt?

Say, just got a peek at the new Uberti 1885 Courtney Stalking Rifle in 303 Br... looks very nice. The writer of the article topped it with a Skinner Sight 1 x 6 with a 30mm tube and illuminated red dot. The glass looks very period to the rifle...very nice combination. Strangely enough the article was in 'Guns of the Old West' Spring 2021, Steven Paul Barlow is the writer.
I have just read that Uberti now offers this gun in 45/70 and there is also a plain quarter rib available if you just want iron sights without wanting to mount a scope

The only ones that will laugh are the uninformed. The Tavor is a pretty good stalking rifle due to it's compactness. Use an appropriate bullet and kill some deer.

Nothing says Genuine quite like a plastic Chinese bullpup with a Faux silencer IMO.

And I've stalked deer with an SKS, an Mossberg 500 with a folding stock, all manner of neat (IMO) firearms .
That didn't make them a 'Stalking Rifle' lol...anymore than banging on something with Crescent wrench makes it a hammer.

Gatehouse is a competent individual... I can remember him 'Owning' some folks who were arguing about SKS accuracy. He just likes disturbing the Status Quo... I can even respect that.
We are just on opposite sides on this debate.
Still, got to recognise that he's getting it done... worth a 'Tip of the Hat' for sure.
I find it much more satisfying if I stay upbeat... we all like the same sort of sport, just different genre's. No need to be mean about it... take care.
