I just picked up a T97 mostly to spite the gun grabbers (don't flame me I donated to the NFA too) but after shooting it a bit I think it could be a decent gun with a few upgrades. I like the T97.ca flat top and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. I know you have to cut the sights off but I don't really like them any way. Also if anyone has a suggestion for a better mag release I'm all ears. I was thinking with a bit of machining an AR mag release might work. I was also wondering how hard it would be to install some kind of AR like bolt release.
Anyone have a T97.ca flat top upper?

I have a M14.ca made FTU. Its the only way to go, huge improvement to the gun.
