Anyone have any idea of a fair value for a Robarms M96?

My m96 had a failure at the cam pine hole on the bolt. At the time it wasn't a big deal, parts were available.

Just saw another one pop up on the EE, if anyone is looking!

$4750? I really want whatever that dude is smoking!

I'm thinking that someone must have either overpaid horribly, or is unusually greedy. My guess is the former. Sorry buds, $3K max in the current climate. Cheap shotguns are flying off the shelves. $3K rifles with a very dubious reputation for durability and zero spare parts support don't typically sell during a pandemic when people are looking for "cheap insurance". The same rifle priced at $4750 with no optics rail, no "Stoner" holes in the Rear Sight wings and no spare parts?
Not a chance....

I wondered about that rear sight myself. Thought it was odd. With regard to price, he's a bit high, I agree, but he should get $4K for it from the right buyer. Someone who just wants a gun for "insurance" can get a WK. Well, four of them for that price ;) Oh, and RobArms is apparently going to be producing these again, according to their press release and website, so spare parts may be an option!

Perhaps you read a different press release than I did, but the one I saw (and the SHOT Show 2020 video that corroborated it) stated that they had found a stash of several hundred major assemblies in a warehouse and were going to produce a few missing minor parts to complete an equal number of guns if my memory serves. It may be less than a couple hundred. Anyhow, the available guns will go up on a presale at the date and time of Robarm's choosing and then that's it, that's all. Based on that, it sounds much more like a limited production "cash grab" by Alex Robinson moreso than some sort of "rebirth" of the M96. I wouldn't be banking on any new source of spare bolts and/or other breakage-prone parts to go with those few hundred "new"/old guns....

I know they're pretty rare here in Canada

Are they really that "Rare"? They seem to pop up for sale regularly. Seen a few for sale at various gun shows in western Canada over the recent years.
