Anyone have experience with the Ruger warranty?

So I purchased a Ruger PC Carbine chassis model from a site sponsor. When it showed up the crown of the barrel was completely jacked up, it was a factory issue. I was told to send it back and the retailer would then send it off to be repaired. This is unfortunate at the best of times because I now have a huge wait before I can shoot it but now with our tyrant of a Prime Minister I am afraid I will never be able to shoot my brand new gun before the law changes.

Anyone have experience with how long this process takes? I’m kind of in the dark right now and feel like I might be SOL. I was not able to get a refund and now I am in this weird limbo state. Any help would be appreciated.

So it's no good as is. You've got to send it back to get warranty. You will have to take whatever comes, or else get it fixed someday privately at your expense. One or the other.

Thankfully it's your dealer that will handle Snap Shots, the Ruger service center. I haven't had to deal with them for years, but when I did communication with them was poor.
