I have been searching for a scope mount and I like the SPUHR brand. They have great reviews on a number of their products but I am not finding much info or reviews on this specific mount.

Has anyone had one of these? I am skeptical with the quick detach system as I wonder if it will loosen under recoil etc. It would be a good solution if you're using the same scope on different rifles. Any thoughts?

I'm wondering about this too, no experience with this type of mount. I have two different optics that I'd like to be able to swap onto one rifle without having to re-zero.

Swapping between different rifles would be more problematic wouldn't it? How often would you have the same zero with different rifles?

I used a QDP 36mm tube on my ZCO scope for a couple years, both centerfire and rimfire, in PRS. It was always good to me. I eventually switched to regular bolt mount Spuhrs but I haven't noticed any different results.

Might have to rezero going onto a second rifle, but remembering how many clicks that took could be helpful when you take it back to the first rifle. Then you get to see how repeatable the mount is.

I had to choose between QD and standard. After a lot of research I went with the standard. It was 50/50. Do you see yourself removing the scope a lot? Like weekly sort of thing? If not it may not be a big advantage. Being able to torque to specific spec beats a cam that may or may not be as tight on one rail as it is on another.

I will be moving the scope across two rifles for now and probable weekly for this season. Not my first choice but have invested heavily in two rifles and one high end scope. Like you I like to torque to the specs but I believe this is the best option for me at this time.

It's been challenging to start over. Thx B
