Per above, does any member have the above rifle (or experience with any Montana Rifle Co rifle)? I'm looking at a 300 win mag and I haven't been able to find any reviews online for this model.

Thanks,

Mik

Mik, Ive never owned a kimber so cant comment although I think they would be a good choice as well. I'm very happy with my V2 and the more I use it the better I like it, accuracy with RL 15 and 270 or 300 grain bullets is excellent , better than the targets in the review by a substantial margin ( Thank goodness I still have 4 pounds left). I have since bought a skinner stainless rear aperture sight for it but haven't got around to trying it out as I'm buggering about with the NECG rear aperture sight and different front sight heights on my CZ 9.3x62 these days. (planning to leave one with sights and the other scoped)
sorry I cant be of more help but haven't had it that long or hunted it yet.

Thank you. I appreciate any insight. I'm waiting to hear back from Montana on the barrel contour and weight for the V2, then I will make up my mind. I though I saw it on the website about a month or so back when I was browsing. For the life of me I can't find it now [

they had some issues on the weight published and for now are no more releasing the weight. a different stock. i still do think they are good rifles. weight: well there are not a kimber ....

I called in and was told that the barrel is a standard sporter contour and the weight is about 7 pounds 10 oz.

Edit: I received a reply to my email and the rep said that the online specs are being updated and the weight in about 8 pounds. Might be a bit heavy for BC.
