I'm thinking about getting this Operator, it seems to be an earlier version, no beavertial, no skeleton hammer, no fron slide serrations and no checkered mainspring housing. Is this one still as good a product as the new ones?

Not on the same level.

The new pistol has match sights, a bushingless match barrel, skeletonized hammer, frontstrap checkering, extended beavertail, magazine well, match trigger, polished internals, etc. etc.

Still a great pistol. Where did you find one, and for how much?

The one darkestjedi refers to is a TRP Operators. The one in the pic is a basic Operators, just has the rail. Both still produced but very different guns.

The TRP Operator rocks.

There are only two Operators being produced as of right now, and that's the TRP Operator and the MC Operator. That is niether.

That's an earlier version of the Operator, and even then it's a little bit different. I don't think they ever came with a spur hammer like that, the beavertail as such, or such a short solid trigger.

Regardless, where did you find it, and for how much? I'm quite interested...
