I'm in the Edmonton area and am looking to purchase a Viper HS 4-16x44mm. Unfortunately there is no stocking retailers around here that I know of who has one.
Is there anyone in the area who has one kicking around that I would be able to look at?

According to Vortex Canada, these are to be available sometime this month. I don't know if any dealers actually have them yet. I have a Viper PST 4-16X50, which is a similar scope with a few extra features, but from what I understand the optics are the same. If that is true I would not hesitate to purchase one myself.
 
They are not yet available in Canada. They are suggesting delivery for mid-June which is now so hopefully any day now they will be available.
 
I'll probably get tarred and feathered for saying this, but what the hay I'll say it anyway.:D Have you checked out "Nature's Corner" in Edmonton? They carry
quite a selection of Vortex Optics (scopes included) at very decent prices. Give them a call and ask for the scope chic (AKA Gillian), she is very helpful.
 
I was talking to Grouse River outfitters the other day about this optic and they said vortex had told them it will now be closer to the end of June.
