Anyone have problems reloading s&b brass

Anyone expirence any problems Reloading s&b brass especially with primer pockets

No problem with primer pockets but found ther brass to be rather soft/thin , causing it to wrinkle when crimping !

I've heard of problems involving decapping rods not fitting through flash holes but before hearing this I had got my hands on 100 S&B 45 ACP brass and reloaded em no problem at all. I happen to be using a Lyman resizing / decapping die ,, if that matters.

S&B are known for tight, square edged primer pockets. One pass through the 1050's swager will fix it.

It was easy to grab when there is about 4k laying on the range ground everyday! Fun times, fun times.

I tried to load up some 9mm S&B brass. the primer pockets were definatly tight. I ended up trying to ream the pockets but eventualy tossed them.

CCI primers seem to be tighter than Winchester small pistol.

I've had issues with the 308 stuff, all primer pocket problems.
Be interesting to know how many guys that have had primers go boom while seating were using this brass.

This isn't looking good for me. I have cleaned up about 4k of it and I guess I will start tonight and see if it works. It will be a shame if it doesn't.

I've noticed their brass has little to no bevel to the edge of the primer hole, meaning you better have the primer line up properly, more of a pain to load compared to any other brass I've tried,Oh ...... Igman strikes a nerve as well.

I have 100 7.62x54r cases, & the primer pockets are tight. Otherwise seems O.K.

I will take them off your hands if they don't work for ya, I have no problem reaming the pocket out for ease of setting the primer...

Well just loaded a few of those S&B 223 on my Dillion 550 and it worked no problem.

The primer pockets seem to have plenty of radius on them to facilitate easy primer insertion.

9mm shells marked "S&B 9X19 NX" with a date have a very small flash hole and cause prolific cursing when they get mixed in with the rest of my brass. The depriming pin always sticks the flash hole.

Can be spotted by the red marking on the primer though there are other brands that are similarly marked.

I have never loaded any S&B products so I am a little unfamiliar with it. All the brass I have - about 6-8K total is not crimped, appears to have a nice radiused primer pocket and seems to facilitate reloading fairly easy.

I just got back from the range and the stuff I loaded last night ran in my AR fine.

Just have to crank the handle some more so I can get this stuff loaded.

I am in need of some 55grn FMJBT to load into these cases.
