Anyone have problems reloading s&b brass

I have about 200 S&B in 7.62 X 54R and I can't get the neck tight enough, I have tried FL and neck size but still the bullet is loose enough to turn or you can tap the bullet in further by tapping it on the table.

That's odd... can't say I've had that problem. Have you checked the diameter of the neck sizing/decapper pin?

As for S&B brass, I usually don't bother reloading them at all. I've noticed a good number of off-centre primer holes which cause de-capping problems. The brass itself I find to be too brittle. I was getting head case seperations after a single reloading with my .303 brass, about 80% showed immenent seperation issues as well.

My 7.62x54r rounds are holding up rather well however. YMMV.
 
About 30% case head separations on second firing of a mild reload in .22 Savage HighPower.

Win .25-35 resized to .22 HP have been fired 5 times, still going strong.

I bought 200 Norma brass, quite the difference. I still have the S&B stuff in hopes that one day I can find a collet sizing die until then the Norma will last me just fine.
 
The pockets are tight on the S&B brass I've used, but as long as everything else is properly done, I've had no issues. I actually like the stuff, both in 9mm and 45acp. I haven't tried 223 yet. If you're collapsing case walls you've got too much crimp, switch to a factory crimp die from Lee - as much crimp as you want without collapsing case walls.
 
I think you'll find the rifle brass from S&B to be fine however you will find that the 9mm has slightly smaller flash holes, much like what is the case with RUAG. It takes a bit more effort to punch thru them but once you do they are fine. You just need to make sure that there arent any sprues sticking into the primer pocket from when the decap pin punched through. Just clean the primer pocket and you are good to go. I cannot speak for the 45acp of late as all the S&B I have seen has been fine in that caliber.
