Anyone have SKS stripper clips?

Can you SKS shooters please enlighten me?....if the mag is pinned at 5, what's the point of a 10 round stripper clip?

You can cut the clip in half, crimp the open end and now you have 5 round stripper clips!

A- the mag only has to be pinned here because of a rule. If that rule is ever NOT in force, I can unpin it.

B- the 10 round stripper clips can be made into fives pretty easily.

C- I just use it twice, no big deal.

Its because your buying military surplus ammunition. Militaries usually don't pin their mags.

No, from what I could tell the russian surplus was slightly more accurate then the chec. I only shot 100 or so rounds of soviet, so I can't say it is more or less reliable than chec

I also would like some stripper clips, if anyone is willing to share. I brought home a nice Russkie beauty covered in cosmo and a case of ammo, the guy selling me the ammo said the ammo was on stripper clips.----Nope, denied, no stripper clips, just the two that came with the sks.

I can pick up in the Woodstock/Brantford/K-W area or I'll pay for shipping.

I have to concur just buy a case of ammo with stripper clips already attached. you will eventually want more ammo anyways. when i first got my sks i think i shot about 1000 rounds in the first 2 months. im on case 3 now and they all came with the ammo already loaded on strippers now i have over 200 stripper clips if i won the lotto id want to have about 5000 rounds in storage.... just in case

I've been trying to get some for a little while and they appear to be sold out most places. If anyone in Ontario is looking to sell some I'd be happy to buy some. I bought the Marstar deal and it only came with 1 clip. That goes quick.
