I see that Marstar has been showing M14's "instock for June delivery" for a week and a bit. I ordered one from them in April over the phone and haven't heard from them yet for my Pal or payment. Just making sure they havn't been contacting others yet, I see no one has gotten theirs yet but I just want to make sure I haven't been lost off their list. Waiting as patient as I can!
Anyone hear from Marstar?

Almost a month ago now I ordered an item from Marstar (by fax, as I heard what they are like responding to E-mails). Their web site indicated that the item is in stock. As of yet, I have heard nothing from them, even after repeated calls.
Apparently, the "new" management is no better then the old one, so don't get your hopes up, especially about better service.
I've learned my lesson, and won't be dealing with them anymore.

All you naysayers can piss up a rope. John(and Marstar) has done more to further the sport of handgun and rifle shooting in this country than anyone else.
If you don't like the lowest prices going and the best firearms for the value, go shop somewhere else.
In the meantime, lay off the ####. John is an upstanding dealer, who stands behind his product, with the best guarantee in the business, and the best prices.
He has a small staff. It keeps his prices low. That helps you!
I have never had a problem contacting Eric, or anyone else. They are always professional and willing to help.
You can always go to the other guys who charge more, for less service. Fill you're boots.

john has answered all my recent emails..... often within an hour of me sending them....... most recent was 5 or 6 days ago.
I have been a critical..... but faithful customer of marstar since the early 90's

John is alive and well. He was at the EOHC Milshoot.
I guess the guy who posted that one doesn't want to make new friends here. Posting rumors after all John has done for us shooters and our sport over the many years.
"Under new management" would have been true as that Mike guy is no longer there but definately not "under new ownership". John is still the captain of his helpful crew over there.
They had an M14 on display there, too.

as i said above...... and I tested it again...... I emailed John late yesterday.... and... even though they are closed on a sunday...... i woke up to a reply from John.

Well if you keep hogging it all.
I was told there had been a change of owners, because as many know John has been looking to be bought out for some time. The person I know must have been mistaken because of the changes over there in staff.

A little over two weeks got our container from China to Vancouver....Arrived April 16th....
Canada Customs Services held the container for just over three weeks....
Once released it took a week to get here.... Arrived Last Saturday 17 May.
We inventoried the entire container load this past week....
We have begun filling orders, it will likely take another week or two for the transfers to go through and for you to receive your gun, hence the "June delivery" date....
