I was looking around the weebs when I stumbled across "arkenopticscanada. com". Has anyone heard or bought anything through these guys? One of those almost too good to be true things.

Personally, my gut says its a scam site based on the following

1) the "Canada" site does not have any form of "contact us" or other information.
2) it instills a sense of urgency with that pop up about "price increase coming"
3) comparing the USA site to the Canada site, the USA site has MUCH more effort and polish put into design and layout. Normally that should translate to the Canada site
4) USA site has been registered since 2019, the Canada site was registerd 30 days ago.

Last point:
5) The Canada site does link back to the USA site, and the same link on the USA site to the Canadian site.

In conclusion, I am skeptical it is legit and I would not risk it without contacting Arken directly first via their global site https://arkenoptics.com/

Yup. I had the same feeling. Was curious if anyone tried and succeeded or got burned.

Yup. I only support our Canadian vendors. I was just curious. I found it weird that the DNS entry was only a few weeks old and a US site referenced the Canadian site. Screams scam.
