Anyone here ever see a LB No7 .22 with target sights??

I mean the same kind of target sights you see on a DCRA converstion, and this rifle had a "5" rd mag as well.... Did LB make a 5 rd mag for the No7?

With a 5 rd mag it sounds like a Brit No7 not a CNo7.

The parker hale sight would fit perfectly, so no reason to think that some rifles were fitted with these sights by their owners. Never saw a DND with that sight. For 22 shooting, it came with a nice adjustable sight that worked just fine. Wish I had taken more of them from the parts bin when I had the chance.

There is C.No.7 in cadet stores here with the left side of its buttsocket driled and tapped for a PH5A. If the rifle were not DND property, I would have assumed that bubba had been at work.
If the magazine is a shortened .303 box, I would expect that it is a non-official replacement. If it is a functionning .22 magazine, its from a British No.7.
