Anyone here have experience with the Savage Arms 10BAT-S/K?

My buddy (C3pppo on here) has one that I have shot and it is a pretty fine rifle - he won a class in the Provincial Sniper Championship out at Volkes with it a month or so ago. It isn't a TRG or an AI but it is a damn nice rifle and for about $2K or so seems good value. Something to consider for sure if you have passed on Remy's various 700 offerings and are considering the Tikka Tactical, Kimber Tactical etc price range. You certainly get a lot of rifle - accutrigger, 10 round mag (AI mag ?), oversize bolt handle and lots and lots of rails.

I had one and it was extremely accurate. Best group I got was around 0.21"@100 during rushed load development. Im a beginner shooter and took it back to 500(? forget) with no problems.

Several people in the ORA shot it while I had it and agreed on the accuracy. Very comfortable to be behind, nice trigger, rugged, easy to shoot well.

Here was mine all done up before I sold it.
