Since we are the topic of stretches....... V-Bull/ED let us see the paperwork to show you are the exclusive distributor? Having discussed this with Preston, I believe Surgeon would disagree with you. Looks like misrepresentation at its best, but perhaps an honest mistake. As far as orders go, you might want to rephrase that as well.

No fight intended. I think Ed has made some pretty bold statements and additional clarification would be nice. In the end, it really doesn't matter, but since we are on a thread of clarification...

Ardent, if you are planning on owning one, it might be nice to have an original copy of article PS sells them if they are still available.

go the Surgeon Web site look under links there you will find towards the bottom of the page V-BULL PRECISION LTD Canadian distributer So Joe does that clear it up ?- I think you should get help for the chip on your shoulder Joe DO you feel inadequate were you picked on as a kid at school did daddy not love you - is Napoleon some one you can relate to....... a**hole..... you constantly try to provoke discord and try to start pissing matches well Joe ONCE AND FOR ALL

Ed, I'm afraid I do. Preston and Christy @ Surgeon Rifles have confirmed that you are not the "exclusive" distributor. This is a fact. Anyone calling Surgeon would find the same response, unless Preston has made an error. There is NO exclusivity as you stated.


Ed, we really need to meet!

Ed, if I am correct I called your posted business number last year sometime. If thats your home I had no idea. I hope this post clears up any confusion.

Wow, you sir are amazing....Off the top of my head I will list people I have seen you openly attack unprovoked on a public forum. Let's see, there is Rick the banned one from Calgary, Jerry/Mysticplayer, Bob Pastor, Ed Begg, and Terry Cross at KMW rifles. If I wanted to invest a few minutes I could probably double that list.
 
Parker-Hale Mike - Sir is really not necessary but it seems you seem to really enjoy stirring the pot. Please...openly attack unprovoked .... That is definitely a summary...not necessarily a complete one.....
 
No, I actually do not like to stir the pot, however the way you choose to run your business, related to the manner in which you deal with your competition and also the way you deal with certain others burns me. I don't know of anyone who treats people in person, in the manner that you do to people on the internet. You would have a foot stuck in your ass in about three seconds if you tried most of these conversations in person.

If you don't believe me, find your posts to any of the people I have mentioned, print them off and go on a road trip, if you need any addresses pm me. Once you get to where they are, recite your portion of the conversation and see where it takes you.

In other words, don't treat people on the internet how you wouldn't treat them in person, that's all.

I actually appreciate the direction to the article and will look it up, and just out of curiousity have to ask, JoeP as in Joe #####? I'm sure it is, just curious why the two handles are going in this thread is all, not that it matters to me just a matter of curiousity. Cheers!

Have you seen the article on the Surgeon in PS? PGW might have and likely has produced something very similar to the Surgeon. Steve made a single shot BR action for a fellow in Calgary that might fill your bill if V Bull doesn't have one or if the wait is too long. Of course it might take some time for PGW to produce that same or a similar action. If you go through some earlier (years now....I think 2000/2001) PS mags, you will find a write up by Rick Pollock on that very single shot action. He did very well with it as well but it was set up for 6 ppc.
 
Give them a ring. A back issue wouldn't be that expensive. Copyright laws prevent getting you a copy of the write up.
 
Seems we have been down this road a few times, this is getting old with the pissing contests always being started and inturn completely hi-jacks the thread at hand. I think Ardent deserves an oppology for the complete lack of respect he has recieved for asking an honest question. To bad so many good threads turn into this, and why, because of a ego's.

On the Precision Shooter thing, if you call them, they will send you a complimentray issue and the magazine itself is only available through subscription.

As far as I can recall, PS is a subscription only publication. At least it was when I subscribed to "Tactical Shooter" some time ago.

While I don't wish to take sides in an internet pissing match between (2) people trying to make a living in a very small, tight-knit community, I believe some clarity is in order.

If Begg is the exclusive distributor, he has every right to make his claim. If this is not the situation, he should at least retract his comments because they are simply not factual. Full stop. End of story.

I'm just glad someone is making an effort to import these actions regardless of who they are.
 
thread locked due to stupidity on one persons part. Dealership rights have been yanked from that person and more is in discussion.
I just phoned Surgeon, talked to the owner, Ed is the dealer for Surgeon actions in Canada. Ed is a good guy, hell a great guy.
