Anyone installed Frontier M14 mount?

I am referring to this one: M-14 Deluxe See-Thru Tactical Scope Mount

I found that the front screw is too big, anyone had this solved? buy new screw?what size screw it takes?

the screw that goes into the reciever? i had one of these on an old norc
i used a dremmel and cut the excess off and then ground it down

or do u mean that its too big to fit the hole?

Yes, the one goes into the receiver..

I mean the hole on the receiver is smaller than the screw that comes with the mount.

lol .. pass .. ive got an ARMS18 . and my leapers turns up next week

Dont have one my self but from what Ive read there is no substitute for a good quality mount. The ARNS18 seems to be the one most go for, I cant remember the name of the other one. Something with smith in it I believe. Someone who is more knowledgeable will step in I'm sure.

I have this mount. What do you mean too big? Its good mount, definitely not useless

I don't have it with me right now but what I can remember there is some kind of adjustment bushing that you have to set first and then tighten big knob. Have a good look at the mount and you will know what I mean. If you do not set that bushing then tightening big know will twist the mount out of alignment.
