I've found a place in the US that's starting to make picatinny/weaver scope rails specifically for the Savage Model 25, which doesn't match any other Savage for hole spacing. Problem is, they will only be stocking a 0 MOA rail for $40 and shipping to Canada is $27. They will, however, make a custom 10 or 25 MOA rail for an additional $20, putting the final cost for a single rail at $87.
So I was thinking, if anyone else is interested in a non 0 MOA rail, maybe we can save a few bucks by having several made and shipped up. As I understand it, the dollar limit for non-controlled parts has been raised to $500, so more than 2 is possible.
Rails are curved back, clearanced for the ejection port, and made of matte black anodized aluminum. Anyone?
