I love the Model 10 (and so does my wife, she actually shoots one Nestor used to own) but to me the charm in these guns in the distinct old-schoolness. If it's going to have vintage operation (no hammer block, no internal lock), I'd go in on a preorder for sure. If it's going to have all the new 'features', it loses the charm.
Anyone interested in S&W model 10 with 4.2" heavy barrel "Canadian"?

Realistically looking I see no chance of bringing no-lock wheelgun from S&W.
You have to remember that this company is owned by the producer of that lock, so I don't see why they would make an exception just for a small group of Canadians.
BTW I'm glad that You Guys like my old revolver. I still own the one pictured at the top of this thread (which is BTW restricted), but I'm looking for a new one at the same time.
