Anyone interested in starting a Petition for XDM 10 round mags?

Just like the title says...

Anyone interested in getting a petition started (to send to springfeld arms) to advocate for getting 10 rounds mags for the XDM?
I have not written up a petition letter as of yet...
Just wanted to see if there was any interest in one (if there is, i will def draft a letter up!!!)

I talked to a customer service rep this week who again reinforced that there are no CURRENT plans to make a 10 round mag, but would not say if there was a possibility of a 10 round mag being made in the future (although to the best of my knowledge Springfield has promised 10 round mags for the XDM before and not delievered).

I asked the customer service rep about getting a petition going...
He said it def would not hurt (although i am fully aware that may also not help at all)...

I just figured that we in the gun community are good at getting grass root projects going and having our voices heard...

So what do you say...

Anyone interested in getting a petition going?

I agree. High cap pinned at 10 is better anyway cause they are usually easier to load.

Of those who have gotten the XDM (imported with the mags pinned to 10 rounds) what has your opinion of the magazines been?

I've got an XDM40, was at the range the other night, worked pretty good, a bit tough to get the 10th round in on one of them but I think that mags messed up anyways, my slide does not stay back when it's empty.

hmm...

do not like the sound of that...

Is that true of all XDMs with the mags pinned to 10 rounds?
 
Nope, just 1 of the 2 I've got...the other one is fine....looking at the mag the pin looks crooked and the little tabby thing to prevent the slide from going ahead on empty is shorter than the other one.

all in all I'm very impressed with the pistol, anybody in Fort Mac who is looking is welcome to give it a try.

Sask Gunworks has a few in stock and is talking about ordering 45's. I got mine from him when he got his first shipment. He is in the dealers link on EE. Great guy to deal with.
