I'm finally all set up and ready to start on this adventure. Planning on mostly capturing mulies. I'm using a vanguard endeavour 20-60x82 And the phone skope adapter for my galaxy s7. I've got a remote shutter button and just ordered a new tripod so I should be good to go. Also figured out how to take pics and video with my phone using voice commands. I was practising on the full moon the other day and am pretty happy with the results so far.

My adapter is in the mail to use my galaxy s7 edge on my swarovski spotter. Really looking forward to it.

Did you go with the phone skope adapter? I'm pretty happy with mine. It's a really tight fit on the eye piece but I guess that's good. There's lots of tips on you tube on how to set it up properly and get the most out of it.

Is that just to reduce the chance of shaking the device when taking a picture. I haven't set mine up yet but I did receive it yesterday.

I don't use a phone skope or any adaptor for my mule deer scouting. I run a canon camcorder with 60x optical zoom for anything that's 300 yards and in. Then for the distant stuff I'll just have my Razor 20-60 spotting scope on a tripod or window mount and hold my phone to the lens and take a pic. I don't like a phoneskope because I change phones too often and usually have different cases that won't fit a standard phoneskope adaptor. Sometimes I will run the camcorder through the spotting scope. I'm considering getting both a DSLR camera and a better 4K camcorder as well.

My buddies and I film all our hunts and have some wicked footage of some of the biggest bucks taken in the province the past few years. If you have any questions shoot me a PM.
