Go paste around gunshows, people sell that stuff fairly often. I bought some at the last show i was at for evaluation purposes; 40 rounds for $8.00

we've been over this one before, Wolf is made by Tula and its on the approved list.

The problem is Wolf ( or Tula) isn't interested in the Canadian market, its just too small for them.

Wolf is not TULA.... they may be made in the same factory but ammunition acceptability is judged by:
1. composition of priming compounds and mass;
2. compostion of powder and mass;
3. composition and construction of bullet and casing, both mass and dimensions; and
4. packaging.
TULA from the acecpted list has no relation to Wolf... testing takes up too 2 years from the initial application and all cost are borne by the importer.
Any lotto winners around here? I'll get it imported, but it will take time and cash, no other way around it.

Alittle off tangent, but WHY does the gov't need to approve the ammo? What are they looking for to disqualify ammo for importation? Do they think some manufacturer might be filling the cartidges with waste dioxin, toxic industrial wastes, or other consipiracies that we need protection from?
Does the U.S. or other countries (European ones come to mind) need their ammo autopsied before approval for sale?

its so it dont blow up in are face and cost someone a million $ when they get sued.
but i find the wolf stuff to be more then good enough for plinking
i have shot about 16k of the 223 and about 3 k of the 762x39 and about 500rds of the 9mm, the 9mm i had probs with.
The 1st gen wolf for 2000 was not good to much sh*t on the cases but the new stuff works 100% in all my ar15s.

I brought up a case from the usa a few years ago(122grain hp)... and that ammo sucked... I hope we get some more norinco silver box ammo in the country.
