Anyone know if LWRC ar's have ever....

Just wondering if any LWRC ar's have ever been imported to Canada. They seem to be pretty nice rigs. Thanks Mark

I have two of the complete lowers coming for my personal uppers that I got. I remember there wasa distributor who will be bringing these in. As for the REPR, the RCMP will need to inspect the unit before they will give out a FRT#.

The distributor for Canada is still doing paperwork, LWRC is coming to Canada to do a demo in August, however it is a LE/MIL event only. My understanding from the distributor that they will service the LE/MIL market and have selected another company to act as an agent for them to do the commercial side of sales.

I realize they're restricted, but just as a beautiful piece of machinery I want one. The technology into them appeals to me. I even have wife approval to get in on the first order when civilian sales happen, don't care if I put this purely on credit card, this is what I will buy.

Although, I am concerned, reading the LWRCI forums make it sound lilke they have psychic powers, the rifles force you to buy more. People just laugh and say you think you can buy just one LWRC.

For the price you are going to pay and the time you will wait you are better off buying a HK MR223 in my opinion if you want a top quality piston AR.

I know what I want; and I'd say that there is the proof to backup the technology in an LWRC to justify it to my wife (She is the acid test to make sure I'm not in 'Oh Shiney' mode). In my opinion there is a very significant cost attached to saying HK. To me the HK is more like a Ferrari, good but requires an oil change very frequently, where as the LWRC is like a GT40, a high performance system that has a lazy V8, it'll keep on running.

I would love to see a list of high performance individuals that have more than 10K rounds through -that gun- (Be it HK, LMT, Novoske, etc.) and willing to stick their name beside it. I only know of KAC that has anything like LWRC's 'reference list' and most of their goodies are very restricted for us Canadians.

LOL. I think you have it reversed!!

Take a look at the track record and users of the HK, and compare it to the LWRC (which really does not have much at all).
