Anyone know of a good source for parts for my Smith and Wesson M29 44MAG?

I am in dire need of a new hammer for an old M29 44mag. Also but not as important I could use a 8 3/8 barrel as well.

Anyone know of any good parts sources for the old N series guns?

wortner's gun works in chatham ontario is the s & W warranty center in eastern canada. he does excellent work . you can google his address

Any gunsmith that has been in business 10 years should have N-Frame parts in his shop. You might try E-Bay for the 8 3/8" barrel. regards, Richard

I have all internal parts for your M 29-44 Mag plus 8 3/8" barrel and
2 cylinders as well. Like new

Taurus customer service

Any gunsmith that has been in business 10 years should have N-Frame parts in his shop. You might try E-Bay for the 8 3/8" barrel. regards, Richard

Believe it or not :
Taurus Customer Service is excellent as long as you
go directly to Forjas Taurus in Brazil, and complain bitterly
about the individual dealers service.
With enough complaints from customers, Taurus will quickly
remove those from their suppliers list.

The normal Dealer does not seem to get as much profit margin
as the others.
This comes from a formerly unhappy Taurus owner .
He is happy now!
