sorry i shoulda included that stuff, its a late 50's winchester model 50 featherweight, 2&3/4 shells semi auto 12G the info i have is its only had 3 boxes of shells thru it, still trying to figure out how to post pics...
Given three boxes of shells through it - the assumption in excellent condition based on use and being a featherweight a guesstimate in the $450.00 range.
I recently took possession of my Dad's. I hadn't shot it in almost 30 years, and was shocked at how well it shot, nice tight patterning well out to 50 yards (full choke). For sentimental reasons alone, this is a "Cold Dead Hands" gun. It might very well have fallen into that category for how well it shoots anyway.
Can't say I've ever ran another 28" barrel that was as easy to put on target. Natural pointer.
For the $$ you'll get for it, you won't be able to buy something else that shoots half as well.
The only downside to it is that you'll need to remove and clean the floating chamber after running 50-100 rounds through it. It'll never be a combat shotgun, but was never meant to be. As a slick skeet/trap gun, or reaching out a bit on upland game, hard to beat. If it's full choke, you won't want to take anything at under 25-30 yards, it patterns so tight if you shoot something at that range it will be self de-boning.
Three or 4 boxers of ammo is unlikely, but not out of the realm of possibilities. Values seem to vary a lot. One of 'em sold, in 2012, on liveauctionworld for $220US(despite it being a Cdn. site).

Ohhhhh... A Winchester Featherweight 50. How much sweeter can you get? I have three 50's, two of which are going to be sold. I found a really nice old one that I will keep. I use semi autos for shooting clay pigeons and, of course, gophers. The 50's have a distinctive bark compared to my other semis. Love those old guns.
