Hi,

I have been under a rock for sometime and seem to have missed out on the P320 X-Fives that we’re for sale. Sadface ☹️

If you know of a dealer/person who is undeserving and would rather cash please let me know. For any other P320 X-Five owners, “my safe is your safe” 👍🏼!

How are you liking your P320 X5?!

Thanks!

I'm not sure if any had made it up here through official channels (IRG maybe) as the release date corresponded with the trigger fiasco. I'm still waiting to see retailers list them.

The extended base mags are not included in the Canadian version of the P320 X5. Four standard mags will accompany your purchase. Apparently, the pinned versions of the 21 round mags don’t function reliably in the X5 version of the P320. Unfortunately, the standard mags don’t seem to work that well with the attached magwell.

If this is true, my interest is quelled.

I like the pistol itself although I’ll be adding an extended mag release from Springer Precision. I haven’t taken my X5 to the range yet. I have a standard P320 that I’ve become fond of. Hopefully, I’ll feel the same way about this version.

Can you tell us where you got your gun?

Some of the US guys took a Dremel to their old P320 magazine base plates in order for them to fit the X-Five. Alternatively you could simply remove the detachable mag well, or buy the Springer base plates.

I have shot my buddy's P320 x5 last week and I really liked, very well balanced, accurate. The grip is great, fit and finish is top notch. What can I add, trigger is really good as well.

Bottom line, I'm jealous lol

I had a chance to handle one at my LGS I was impressed with the in hand feel of the pistol and the trigger was light years ahead of my two Glock 17's The 1400.00 plus our 15% rip off tax seems to put the price out of sight for a polymer frame pistol. I have a couple Sig 1911 and feel they are a lot more bang for the buck than the 320-X-FIVE. I would like to have seen a range report here but don't look like it's going to happen? There seems to be some mag issues holding the slide back after the last shoot according to some posting on the SIG site.

Cheapest I found at a LGS is 1295$... and it was gone very quick!
