Anyone know what muzzle brake?

I was hoping for some ideas to what I'm looking at on a Shultz and Larson bull barrel that I have. The muzzle has been turned down and two holes drilled.
Obviously for a muzzle brake or muzzle adapter. But what type?

I failed to mention the holes are on the side of the barrel exactly 90 degrees to its action. Not on the top at the muzzle but at the side.
Is that normal for target sights like this?
Pardon my ignorance. Just haven't encountered this before.

Probably a Brake

GEFLACH is correct. I had the same set up for attaching a front match sight to a S&L offhand match rifle.
