Anyone know when MARSTAR is getting more M305's?

website says out of stocl and dealers are charging well and beyond 395. I am not paying 500 for a M-305 there's no way.

I just saw a used PolyTech for $995.00 US this afternoon. THe Norincos are MUCH better quality.

I've dropped my $500.00 gun into a $1,000 stock and then fitted a $500.00 rail onto it. From there I mounted a $1,500 scope and added another $800 worth of springs, op rod, muzzle break and spacers. From talking with Mysticplayer, he says the Norcs are better then Springfields so I might as well do one up since it's still non-restricted.

I will pay 399 just not 500 as that is what everyone except Marstar is asking. No doubt they are great rifles.

No argument here, just want to pay Marstar price which is 400 not 500.

If you want an M305, quit being cheap and just buy one. Its the sentimental value of one, not the price. If price is an issue, then you'll never own one.

I can't imagine being sentimental over anything made by Norinco. I buy them because they're the Bic lighter of the firearms world - disposable.

I wouldn't personally pay more than what Marstar was asking for them. Dealers get their discount and make a reasonable profit at that. Much more than that is simply price gouging.

Wait till the Chinese quit selling them, then watch the price climb to $1000.00. With a Sproingfeld costing >$2000.00, it'll still be a deal. You'll have to pay what the market will bear.......if you still want one.

Yeah, I wasnt going to wait to get my dad one so I payed the what the gun shop was charging and it came out to $550 after tax. If I can save $50 - $70 by waiting for Marstar for my own I will. Because Ive got his to take out and shoot till i get my own! hahaha.

But yes, buying two is a good idea.. I may buy two for myself so I can keep one in its original condition and the other do what I want with.

Marstar also orders a lot more then your average small gunshop, another reason why they can charge a lot less.

You're forgetting tax & shipping. I purchased two rifles from the last Marstar shipment. Cost me a little over a $1000.00 all in. You're not going to get a Marstar M-14S in your hands for $399.99 all in.

lol. You're serious, right? The Chinese will stop selling them when the demand drops off or there current inventories are depleted. Based on the fact they were building these for the huge US market, I suspect there'll be ample supplies to fill all the demand Canada can muster.
