Anyone know where this sks is from/ year?

Just bought this SKS anyone know how to tell where and when it was made?

It looks like a Tula 1955 or 56 Russian sks, they stopped putting the years on them towards the end of production.

Its a Russian referb with no dates showing in your pictures, black bolt and scrubbed at that.

Thanks. What gives away the Tula? The little square or star on the side? I just started getting intersted in the sks's and I'm still learning.

I took pics of all the markings on it that's why I'm asking. Not much for info on the gun itself just thought someone who knew these guns better would have answers

The star on the side dates it to '55 or '56.
