Anyone know where to find a canvas ammo belt?

Is there anywhere in Canada to source a canvas ammo belts? The old traditional 19th century type for the 45-70 cartridge.

The mills is pretty much strictly a military belt is it not?

Actually I looked mills belts up they're pretty neat.

Main reason I'd like to go with a canvas webbing belt is its historically correct and gentler on the brass, typically a leather belt with time will oxidize the brass will it not?

Yes that is why the military switched to the mills style .T he mills was made in civilian versions as well

I'll definitely go for a mills then, besides easier to care for as I aim to be out in the weather, rain or snow.

C sharps sells a real nice canvas belt with a few options like color,width and choice of belt buckle for $125
