Anyone know where to fine a short,Stainless, 10/22 Hbar?

I might swap out my ER Shaw 11.5 with Yankee Hill flash-hider for a short (14-16inch) stainless bull barrel. Do any of you fine folks know where to find one? Fluted would be sweeeeet! If I find one I'll sell/trade my mega desirable ER barrel.

it' gonna be tough, aftermarket barrels have been so brutally rare in the last year it's freakin' retarded!

best of luck, and dibs on the 11.5" er shaw! :D

edit: 16 inch would probably be a little easier since it's a "common" length. to get a 14" you'd have to get an aftermarket charger barrel.

last time i talked with dan @ hawktech arms, he said he was working on an importer for such things, but i don't know if that ever turned out....

okay, i got myself curious about it and i phoned dan.

from the conversation it appears that:

-the importing of barrels is still a possibility whenever he and the third party get everything ironed out. it may be possible in 30-60 days, but who knows, things change.

-there will be a $250 tax stamp for exporting barrels from the USA. that $250 is per order, whether the order is one barrel or fifty barrels it's a flat rate of $250, so this means group buying!

-other products are still available to export from the USA and ship to canada, as long as the order is $100 or less.
