Anyone know where to get a low end 1911?

I'm looking for a Norinco (or other cheap) 1911. Preferably in 9 mm, but .45 ACP works too. I've been looking around, but the pistols that seem to be trickling back into stock here and there don't really fit the bill.

Nordic has a Colt Competition 9mm this morning. $2k. Not cheap but certainly not expensive in the 1911 world of today.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a 9mm 1911 in general. They got bought up very quickly.

I too wouldn't mind grabbing one before the freeze, but I'm only willing to pay Norinco money, not Colt money, so I probably won't be getting one...

Few Norcs still popping up on the EE. Gotta be quick though.

For reasonable prices? seen a few asking twice, even triple what they cost new... I don't want one bad enough to pay $1000 for a Norinco....

Noting what used to be typical $325 to $350 asking prices for basic Norc 1911's all seem to be north of $550 now.

Edit - Nevermind, it was a SIG 22lr clone (firefly) I saw. And it appears to be already sold.

Good point, until the great panic freeze, I've never owned a rimfire handgun, have bought two since.
