Napping can also be used for hunting game. A friend of mine had dozed of against a three, and when he woke up, a buck was looking at him from about fifteen yards. Years ago, I read about of another hunter who had dozed off, just to be waken up by a bul moose tht was checking him out by sniffing him out at point blank. Both hunter shoot their deer/moose with one shoot

Just don't fall asleep with buck lure on, you might wake up getting the horn.

I had an experience similar to snowhunter's friend a few years ago. My ski-doo was still on my trailer and wouldn't start. I just about collapsed a lung (I'm asthmatic) pulling the friggin' cord so I had a few puffs of my inhaler and laid back on the ski-doo seat to rest "for a minute". I conked out and was asleep for over an hour. I woke up to find five caribou standing about 75 yds. away just looking at me. They were probably intrigued by the snoring! Anyway, I had two tags and two easy shots and didn't need the ski-doo after all.

amen, gotta love backapcking out somewhere remote away from all of the idiots in todays world and having a good nights sleep!
