anyone loading 410

Good luck finding a used .410 loader. When I was in the market for one I looked for a long time but finally had to break down and buy a new MEC 600Jr. You have to be in the right place at the right time to get a used one since .410 loaders sell much faster than 12 & 20 ga loaders and usually for more money as well. I've seen Lee Hand tool sets in .410 go for as much as $80 on ebay! In 12 ga the same set might get $15.

Ask around your local skeet club. They are often people there who will have a .410 loader, and would know if anyone was selling (may or may not be posted for sale, there are a lot of 'word of mouth' sales).

I load probably 2000 .410 shells a year between skeet and rabbit hunting. Loaders are out there if you look. Whats a "good" deal" on wads and what kind are they? I picked up the loader (MEC 600) I have a few years back for $50 and it came with 600 hulls and two bags of wads.

reloading .410 (maybe along with 28 gauge) is probably the activity which for shotgun produces the greatest savings vs buying factory..

And that's exactly why .410 & 28 gauge loaders are hard to find (compared to 12 or 20 gauge). I think the only thing less common (among the common gauges) are 10 Gauge loaders.
