Yes!!

We are very pleased to unveil our chassis style stock designed to fit the Short Action Savage rifles. The engineering allows for both the Savage Gen 2/Stevens 200 (4.275") 0r Gen 3 Savage (4.400") bolt spacing.
They will work with any of the 308 based cartridge family.
The chassis is CNC milled from 6061 T651 aluminum billet and incorporates integral detachable magazine and integral UIT rail for attaching bipod or.....
We have used the Accuracy International mags, skins, cheekrest and butt system that are reknown for high quality.
For photo purposes we took these prior to having them Milspec Hard anodized.
We will have finished stocks available 1st week of Feb
Cost of complete stock including 1, 10rnd mag is $1095.00

Damn you and your hide!
That makes easier and a little cheaper to build a fancy tacticool rifle.
Stevens with a 260 bbl from mystic, that stock of yours, a little tweaking, and viola!

Thanks...I think ;)

Nope. It is a right handed world after all. :)

Rick, even if you charged an extra $300 or so to "flip it" in the CNC'ing, you could make a killing. The only AI-alternative was that special run Wolverine had a while back... And there was no way I could swallow $8900... At least, not at the time or level of competence I have invested in the sport currently.

According to Accuracy International they are making an AICS for current Savage single feed model 10 receivers.....with availability in Q1 this year. They will be priced the same as the Rem 1.5 and 2.0's.

The biggest problem is getting LH skins from AI.
To reprogram to make the changes for LH would not be that big a deal, but the LH market is VERY small.
IF we could get the skins and IF there was enough guys willing to pony up the $$ we could be talked into making a minimum run of 10 or more LH stocks.

Hi Rick, the new stock looks great, I have a fcp 10 with a micmillan a-5 stock, would this new stock of yours bolt right on?, and is there any beding required? or needed with the new stock. I've never seen one up close
Thanks Jeff

These stocks are a true drop in
I still believe bedding is the right way to go, even on the AI chassis.

Lefties make up only 15% of the population. Making a product specifically targeted to such a small demographic is hardly a route to making a killing.

I am as lefty as they come. However you have to admit it is a right handed world so we have to learn to adapt. There is nothing difficult about a lefty operating a right handed rifle. In fact there are some advantages to working that way.

Personally I am fighting with the idea of this chassis stock. My biggest problem is my Savage is a .223 and at the moment AI doesn't offer mags for that cartridge.

Awesome. Anything planned, or, is there anything in general for the Savage Target .308 action to replace the standard f/tr stock?
