I would not anticipate any problems at all with a billet lower. There are (or at least can be, I can't speak for any particular products) milspec in terms of critical fit areas, and beyond that the rest is cosmetic. They are not inferior to forged lowers, and some would argue that they are better. Honestly, I think it would be a challenge for a Canadian to wear out a billet or forged lower, five rounds at a time.
As far as looks vs. function, I didn't mean to suggest that any of these lowers you are looking at are inferior. I'm sure they're all top-notch products. Personally, I would spend the additional $200 on quality components for the rest of the gun, but as long as you aren't going to buy a customized lower then mount a Norinco upper on it, power to you and enjoy your new gun!
