It's not pretty and doesn't have the pinky finger rest like the plastic base pads but I don't think it's going to crack like the plastic ones...
I made up a simple steel anvil I can hammer these out on in about 15 min... I wouldn't want to do a batch of hundreds this way but making a few extra for anyone who might need a replacement to keep a mag going wouldn't kill me...
Just figured I'd throw the offer out while I'm making mine. I plan to possibly add a small mag well to my frame so the lack of pinky support doesn't bother me yet. I may try and add an extra piece to give some support and not have to build a mag well...
