Anyone no where i can buy a new buffer for my fx-9

7oz is too little IMO, from memory the FX9 bolt is ~11oz (whereas the Raven bolt is ~16oz).

11oz bolt + 7oz buffer =18oz, like you said ~22oz seems to be the sweet spot for PCC.

There is a TON of info on Blowback9 with data from his extensive testing that supports 22oz being where you want to be for non locking buffers in a PCC.
Most fx-9 bolts hover around the 12-12.5oz mark. So an 8oz buffer makes a big difference (the lowest I would use) from a factory 3oz. Every ounce up you go makes it shoot better and better until you hit the 22-24oz plateau. After 24oz there is no felt discernible advantage.

Mine was a little light in that case. I switched to a Kynshot hydraulic buffer and 2 weights which added another 11oz exactly (22oz total).

Wow. Mine is 12.4. The others I've weighed all run the 12-12.5... gen 1 or 2? Wondering if that makes a difference.
If it's a gen 2 then I'm really shocked that there is a possibility of a 1.5oz difference in bolt weight
