Hi all, I looked this pistol over along side the 92FS. The fit and finish on the Girsan are incredibly good. Considering a Norinco CZ or SIG clone is 350$, this service pistol for 450$ seems so much better and I could easily justify the 100$. What can any and all current owners and shooters tell me about the Girsan? Any info would be welcome!
Many thanks!

This is interesting as I have been wondering the same. Gotta save up and get this gun. Would love to hear how it is.

EDIT: where do you see it for 450? Is it the black one? As im looking for the polished one myself

Look up Al Flaherty online. The polished frame and slide model goes for 100$ more if I'm not mistaken. You are correct, the matte black finished pistol is 450$. They just got these in. They look and feel awesome. I bought it. 508$ OTD. Waiting on my ATT . To take it home.

NICE.. thats awesome to hear. Let me know how it shoots :) I want to buy one of these once I have the money for it :)

I own one, it is perfect, I cannot tell a difference between it and my father's Beretta, if anything the build quality is better on mine. All Beretta magazines work on my Girsan, it comes with Mec-Gar magazines meant for the Beretta 92.

I figured it was a good build quality. For the price I figured it was a no brained. Shooting - wise, how do you find it? I'm pretty pumped to pick it up this week, hopefully. I will be able to post up my first impressions once I get it to the range! Thanks for the response.!

I picked one up from SFRC it is the compact model, here's a few things I have noted.

Metal trigger, safety and guide rod are a plus.
It is based an F model not FS so the slides will not swap the rest of the important parts do like magazines and springs.

Trigger seems a little heavier than my Beretta, but it has almost 20,000 rounds down the pipe.

Quite a bit of interchangeability between them. 20K rounds down the pipe is impressive. I like SRFC. I've picked up a few of my milsurps from Ryan. It happens that Flaherty 's is a 20 minute drive from my house when the traffic is moving along. Aside from my TT33, the Girsan is the only modern milspec service pistol in an all steel configuration that I own. Thanks for the response!

If you search back to late last year, someone posted some great close up shot's of their Girsan. I would have bought Dumantepe's when he had it up for sale If I had the cash at the time lol.
