Anyone out the shoot 10mm?

The guy that I bought it from lives in Arizona but is originally from here. He was storing the gun at his friend's house here in Saint John. This friend happened to be into the gun store where my father works and they got talking handguns when my father mentioned that I liked 10mm's and I owned 5 of them. The guy said he had a 10mm in storage for his buddy and and asked if would I be interested in buying a Bren Ten. Dad called me right away and needless to say I made it 6 10mm's!
The gun had only fired 200 rounds and is in excellent condition. I also got the original box and manuals as well as 1000 rounds of Norma factory ammo (200gr).
I never thought I'd ever come across one in my life but sometimes you just never know!
Another interesting note is that the guy that owned the Bren Ten used to be an instructor for Jeff Cooper at Gunsite!
We shoot Steel Challenge at my club and I felt the need to have revolver and semi-auto both in the same calibre. I started looking around and over a couple of weeks the first pair of guns that came up were a Smith 610 and a stainless Colt Delta Elite. Bought them both and became a 10mm fan. Interesting, I happened to be at Gunsight, May of 1983 if I remember right, doing the intermediate pistol course when Robbie Baartman introduced a gentleman from Dornhouse and Dixon (I think that's right) who had brought the first production Bren Ten for test firing and ultimate presentation to Col. Cooper . The class as a whole got to shoot that gun that day and were able to attend the presentation. I remember thinking at the time it was a hand full of bang. The original NORMA ammo was real warm! The buddy that was with me on that course made up his mind that he had to have one and put his name on the waiting list. About two years later he actually got the gun but with no mags. Production suspended about the same time and he had a hell of a time getting mags. He's a persistant dude and over the years got 5 or 6 mags and still has the gun. Ain't history interesting.
I do not currently own or shoot a 10MM (or any pistols for that matter). But I used to own a Colt Delta Elite. I sold it off when I met my wife along with most of my other guns and am only recently getting back into shooting and collecting guns. I kick my @ss every day for selling that gun. Really love the 10 and want to get some as soon as the coin comes my way.

Come to think of it, I am 99.9% sure that I am the only 10mm owner at our gun club.......

By the way, there were more than 2 models of the Bren Ten. I have the Standard Model.
There is another member here (that I know of) who has a Bren Ten. Let's see some pics of yours again koldt!
