Hey Folks,

I'm wondering if there is anyone out there with a rear sight installation tool in the Hamilton, ON or surrounding area who would be willing to share it briefly :) It's for a CZ 85 so a sight specific tool or a universal would be great. Please let me know and thanks in advance!!

Brass punch, brass or plastic hammer and a vice. That's how I change sights on pistols. If you can find a sight puller and be able to borrow it fine otherwise doing it with a brass punch is easy and won't damage the gun.....

Thanks for the replies! I'm well familiar with the brass punch and hammer technique but I'd like to install these sights with a degree of precision as it is an adjustable sight and will be unforgiving to any mis-hits.

TDC - Many thanks!! If I can't get one locally I'll definitely take you up on that offer. Cheers!

Even an adjustable sight has a solid base. I've installed dozens using a brass punch and nylon hammer and never had a single issue. Sight pushers are ridiculously expensive, but if that's what you really want you can find one online at Brownells.
