Just wanted to hear from anyone that owns or has shot or knows much about the baikal mp 161k. Thanks in advance:ar15:

Yeah I got one of these, nice little gun, a few issues with ammo choice, scope rail comes loose needed loctite, need to be careful when putting a scope on, because if you position it wrong you cant get the pin out that hold the bolt in on the back of the action.
Over all shoots real well with 555's for me, nice groupings. You will need to put a scope on it or red dot as the front site is to thick and tall to accurately shoot. Kids love the look, I like it over all, nice gun.

I looked at the pics of them and don't mind it...but 9 round mags? A bit dull methinks.
 
Shot my friends a couple years ago, from memory one of the most mushy triggers I felt on a 22 rimfire, but cool gun,would not hesitate to get one as long as you can find extra mags, DZ!
 
I find mine seems to like federal champion bulk box. I'm drawing up a design to try and make a drum mag for it. I'm thinking it should work. Hopefully. :)
